The Panchachuli Peaks

Munsiyari means place of snow and is also referred as Little Kashmir. Panchachuli is a group of five peaks and is the star attraction at Munsiyari as they look like chimneys and are amongst the gorgeous treasure love for the magnificent peaks of Nandadevi, Nandakot, Raja Rambha and mountain of Nepal Himalayas. Munsiyari is famous for its picturesque beauty and trekking excursions and is popular with trekkers and adventure enthusiasts as this place is the base of Milam, Ralam and Namik glaciers. Birthi Fall

Birthi falls is located in Munsiyari which is situated at an elevation of about 2,200 m. The charm of Munsiyari is inexplicable as the place is endowed with exceptional Himalayan beauty. Birthi falls is situated amidst dense forests and the Himalayas. The waterfall is gifted with a charm and beauty which acts a magnet to attract international and national tourists. Owing to its location in Munsiyari, whose name refers to ‘place with snow’, Birthi Fall attracts mountaineers, adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Nanda Devi Temple

Nanda devi temple is situated at a distance of 3 kms from Munsiyari town, Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand. The holy surrounding and incredible views of panchachuli peaks and the nearby himalayan peaks makes this place a must visit spot in Munsiyari. The Nanda Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Nanda (Parvati) is a Hindu sacred site where the faith of many devotees abides. The Nanda Devi Temple is a small white structure have a conical shape façade.One can see the brightly hand painted image of Lord Ganesha on the outer wall of the temple. People worship Nanda Devi Temple with great reverence for the bottom of their heart.

Thamri Kund

The Thamri Kund is a natural water lake in the middle of a hill. One has to trek to go there. It's a short trek. The trek to thamri kund starts about 10 kilometers before Munsiyari. Thamri Kund is a favourite place among tourist for the calmness and serenity of the place which rejuvenates the visitor. The tracking trail of the Thamri kund is a treat in itself as it takes tourists amidst lush green forest. It also offers magnificent view of Himalayan peaks most notably the Panchachuli Peaks. It is considered as the hidden Gem of Munsiyari missed often by visitors in absence of awareness.

Khaliya Top

Khalia Top is known as a habitat place for trekkers, tourists, and naturalists, it is situated near Munsyari in Distt. Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand. Khalia Top is situated at a height of 3500 mts. above sea level. Reaching its top gives a wide and clear view of Panchachuli and Nandadevi range. Khalia Top is famous for bird watching, since few years its become paradise for bird watcher, specially for the pheasants, by far the most spectacular of the state’s birds, require some effort in many places but not in Khalia top, also you may see snow cocks, snow partridges and chukor partridges

Kalamuni Top

Located at a distance of 15 km from Munsiyari on the way from Birthi, Kalamuni Top is 9500 feet tall. The place is famous for its Kali Temple dedicated to Naga God. The fantastic view of Panchachuli peak from there flanked by the sprawling pine forest is a place must visit. Great place to see sunrise and sunset over the snow capped peaks. Trekkers also assembles at this point for further trekking and it is great place for camping.
